Pillow Talk

Let's talk about Satin Rollers! They are a very popular hair styling tool that can help create voluminous, bouncy curls or sleek, smooth waves without damaging the hair with heat! If you're new to using satin rollers, here are some tips to help you get the most out of them:

1. Start With Clean, Dry Hair... Before using satin rollers, it's important to start with clean, dry hair. This will help the rollers grip your hair better and create a more polished, long-lasting style. If your hair is wet or damp, it may not hold the curl as well. 2. Apply A Styling Product... When using on Raw hair, a lil bit of product goes a long way! To help your curls or waves last longer, apply a styling product before rolling your hair. This can be a mousse, gel, or styling spray that's designed to provide hold and definition. Work the product through your hair evenly, making sure to coat each section from root to tip.

3. Section your hair... To make the styling process easier and more efficient, divide your hair into 2 sections before rolling it. Use a hair clips or band to hold the section you are NOT working with. This will prevent the hair from getting in the way. 4. Roll Your hair... Place the long satin tub evenly at the top of your head. Starting at the top of the head, take your hair and wrap it around the roller. Make sure you smoothly get the ends around the bottom portion of the roller. Secure the roller in place by folding the ends of the roller over the hair using the scrunchies provided. Repeat this process on the other side.

5. Leave The Rollers In... For the best results, leave your satin roller in your hair for at least 30 minutes or even sleep with it in over night. This will give your hair time to set, which will help the curls or waves hold their shape.

If you're in a rush, you can use a blow dryer to speed up the process, but make sure to use a low heat setting and avoid touching the rollers with the dryer nozzle. 6. Remove The Rollers...

Carefully remove the roller by unwrapping the scrunchies and gripping the tope of the roller and gently pulling. You can also unwind from the bottom up. You will remove the hair in the opposite direction that you rolled it. Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to gently separate the curls or waves, and apply a hairspray or finishing product to set the style.
