Refund Policy

All sales are FINAL and there are no refunds allowed on any grounds due to hygenic reasons.  It is the customer's responsibility to measure head prior to making purchase for any wigs we sell on our site.

Order processing begins once payment is pulled.  This means your order will not process until we have pulled the funds from our payment processor.  Due to high levels of fraud within the hair industry, orders will not start to process until 24-48 hours AFTER your payment is made.  This is to protect our business as well as you from fraudulent credit card transactions.   

As a result, order modifications are not permitted after an order is submitted. This includes changes to products, refunds, shipment methods, addresses, cancellations, etc.

For all other products besides hair wigs or extension, customers are advised to complete all request for a Store Credit within 3 days of receipt of their delivered order. Any exchange request not received within the specific time frame will be disqualified, The product must be sent back in the original packaging condition (resalable condition) as it was when shipped from us, meaning it cannot be combed, washed, brushed, cut, worn, colored or altered in any way (original ties must remain intact as it was received by the customer).  You MUST contact our Customer Satisfaction Team prior to shipping your items to us for a store credit. You can reach Customer Satisfaction at 844-772-9424  - (844-7Raw-Hair).  A representative will provide you with a RMA number and you will include this number on the OUTSIDE of your package.  Send your item(s) including your first name, last name, phone number, the reason for the return, and original receipt.

For your protection, we suggest that all returns are sent back to us through a traceable postal carrier with a signature required. We are not responsible for lost items in transit. 

All Sales are Final on clearance and sale items. No returns will be accepted for sale, clearance items or custom units. The customer is responsible for all return freights in a product return transaction. Once received and determined to be in resalable form, a store credit will be issued. If the item was purchased during a promotion that has ended, your new order will not qualify for the promotion in question.  Once a store credit or Gift Card is issued, it may not be redeemed as cash on any grounds. 



Shipping Policy

All orders within the US are shipped via USPS.  The customer reserves the right to select delivery with Signature Confirmation or to ship without Signature Confirmation.  Signature Confirmation provides additional safety of the delivery of your package. 

Straight From The Scalp IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PACKAGES once it is confirmed it has been accepted by the postal carrier.  If the customer decides to ship WITHOUT Signature Confirmation, it will solely be up to the customer to communicate with USPS to track their package.  Straight From The Scalp will not assist in the process.  Signature Confirmation protects the customer and the business.  It provides proof of receipt of your package.

Undeliverable/Lost/Return to Sender Packages

If your package does not successfully deliver and is sent back to Straight From The Scalp, it is typically due to insufficient address information. Your package will be returned and “Returned to Sender” will be stated on your tracking information

This can happen if:

The shipping address does not exist

The shipping address is misspelled by the customer

The shipping address is missing information (i.e. apt/bldg/suite number)

The carrier is unable to safely deliver the package

The addressee has moved

The addressee has refused the package


"Returned to sender" packages will be restocked and you will be issued a store credit in the form of an E-Gift Card minus the initial shipping charge and the customer will incur a 25% restocking fee. 

We are unable to replace or reship in these instances as all returned shipments are processed by our Returns Department. Instead, please use the E-Gift Card to place a new order using the corrected address. However, please note that we do not guarantee your items will be in-stock at the time of your reorder.  We also do not guarantee that your item will be the same price as your original order.  

Note: We are unable to make changes to orders that are placed on our system. To ensure that your package is properly delivered, make sure that your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) are critical to ensuring delivery.  Straight From The Scalp does not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments.
